THE SWISS WATCH MUSEUM CELEBRATES THE ASPHALT WATCH
Ceremony in the Museum & Factory Tour Concepto
La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland – The NÜRBURGRING ASPHALT 1, the World’s First Asphalt Watch by COBLOR, will be officially included in the prestigious Musée International d’horlogerie on June 8, 2023. This significant milestone, achieved in less than six months since its market launch, is exceptional recognition for COBLOR’s innovative and unique timepieces.
The idea of creating a watch from racetrack asphalt was a bold step for COBLOR, but with relentless work, passion, and perseverance, this vision became a reality. The recognition from the Musée International d’horlogerie, which has been documenting watchmaking since 1902, was a surprise and an honor that COBLOR did not anticipate.
Accompanied by 50 Ferraris
The grand ceremony at the watch museum will be accompanied by an impressive gathering as the Ferrari Club Germany will be present with over 50 Ferraris on that day. The presence of President Walter Ben Dörrenberg and its members underscores the importance and prestigious nature of this event.
The Musée International d’horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the watchmaking city in French speaking Switzerland, is renowned worldwide for its exceptional watch collection, restoration center, and study center. After 121 years, the museum now documents COBLOR’s innovation and creativity by including the NÜRBURGRING ASPHALT 1 in its exhibition.
Factory tour at Concepto
Following the museum ceremony, invited guests will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive factory tour at the Concepto Watch Factory. Concepto is a respected manufacturer that collaborates with renowned brands such as BVLGARI, Jacob & Co., and Louis Monet. This behind-the-scenes glimpse into the art of watchmaking is exclusively reserved for COBLOR guests and provides a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of horology.
