WINNER OF THE GERMAN PACKAGING AWARD 2023

Berlin, September 13, 2023 – We have been awarded the German Packaging Award 2023 for our outstanding multilayer paper packaging! The prestigious accolade was presented during a grand ceremony held at the Meistersaal in Berlin.

Here’s what the jury had to say: The task of creating a presentation and storage box for the “NÜRBURGRING ASPHALT 1” watch model was impressively executed, brilliantly showcasing the product and its unique feature—a watch with an original asphalt dial.

The jury commended the creative and highly impressive execution of our paper box for the NÜRBURGRING ASPHALT 1. The packaging itself mirrors the distinctive characteristics of the Nürburgring, mimicking the various layers of the road surface (track coring). Multiple layers of dyed cardboard were meticulously laminated to create a striking overall design. The packaging’s hinged doors also provide space for certificates and additional documents.

The jury was particularly impressed by the thoughtful overall concept, attractive design, and successful graphic presentation of the packaging.

For 60 years, the German Packaging Award has recognized outstanding achievements in packaging design, with the responsibility for the award resting with the German Packaging Institute e.V. since 1996. Over the years, this accolade has evolved into the most prominent showcase for packaging excellence in Europe.
