You’ve probably already asked yourself, who are the people behind COBLOR? Today we give you a little insight into the team. When the idea of building race track asphalt into Swiss mechanical watches first came up over two years ago, three people were directly involved. COBLOR founder Nikolaos Radis and his two sons. Nikolaos always talks about the moment when it all began. 

“At that moment when this idea flashed up, I directly shared this thought with my sons. I explained to them that I had an idea and wanted to incorporate racetrack asphalt, with all its emotions, into a watch! The reaction of my two children (at this time aged 9 and 12) impressed me almost more than the idea itself. Dad, surely this has been around for a long time! It all started at that moment…”

But an idea is nothing if you don’t have the people on your side who believe in it. For almost two years, we have been working day and night to bring this idea to life together.

Who are we? A small but fine team with big visions. Anja (Sales & Marketing), Claudio (Quality-Management, Switzerland), Maxim (Project-Management), Janne (Finance), Sela (Consulting), Louis (Video-Producer), Marcel (Social-Media) and Nikolaos (Founder) are part of COBLOR. We bundle our know-how to meet the high demands of quality. Only in this way we are possible to inspire people.

What brought us together? One and the same thought. The passion and enthusiasm for this unique idea.

Despite the highest demands on ourselves, at the end of the day we are human beings. People who are ready to learn every day. Your opinion is also very important to us. COBLOR is based in Stuttgart, the birthplace of the automobile. The watches are produced in La Chaux-de-Fonds, at one of the most prestigious Swiss watch manufacturers. In close cooperation with our renowned racetrack partner Dromo Circuit Design from Italy and the asphalt specialists Makadamlabor Schwaben, we will soon present the first asphalt watch to the public.
